Entheos provides 24/7 interactivity as a gift to Black Rock City. As one of the largest camps at Burning Man, we bring interactivity to playa that “only a camp of [our] population size could accomplish.”

Entheos strives to create interactivity that balances body, mind and spirit, with a common theme of enthusiastic, playful participation. We divide the day and the night between offerings that are structured, educational and intellectually collaborative (daytime) and offerings that are fluid, celebratory and creative (nighttime). Below you can read about what we have planned for this year.

Trampoline Sports Arena (24/7)

For 2018, Entheos built and operated a 44'x28', seven bed, trampoline dodgeball court surrounded by 100 recycled, 275-gallon IBC-water cubes that were lit with DMX-controlled lighting. In 2019, we added a total of 12 new 45 degree angle trampoline walls as a bowl around the flat trampolines to create a trampoline play and sports arena. That's right, you can literally bounce off the walls. The expanded trampoline arena measures 65' long by 45' wide and stands 13' tall. We are now working to enhance the entire complex with interactive light projection and DMX-controlled lighting for a visually stunning and immersive experience. The Trampoline Arena is staffed 24 hours a day with changing activities such as: Kids First Morning Jump, Trampoline Dodgeball, Acrobatic performances, Trampoline Dance Parties, and Black Rock City’s largest cuddle puddle.

TEMPLE OF ENTHEOS (24/7)

The Temple of Entheos will be a place of refuge and relaxation for the public and for camp members. It may also host a broad range of communal and sacred activities: Tai Chi, yoga, sound healing, meditation, chanting, drum circles, prayer, intentional ceremonies and joyful celebrations. We are tremendously excited to bring the gift of this space to playa. Open for public programming for 8am-8pm and camp members access only from 8pm-8am.

Entheos Performance and DJ Stage 

Our stage, backed by an impressive Funktion One sound system and integrated lighting, is the platform for performances, DJs and interactive mischief. Resident and guest DJs turn it up on stage, accompanied by dancers, fire spinners and aerialist performers. While we welcome a broad range of exceptional music and talented artists, we especially seek to support women DJs and musicians producing original work in a field where men are already highly represented.

Entheos Workshop and Speaker Series (11am - 2pm) 

Each year, Entheos makes facilities available to our own campers and to members of the Burning Man community to present workshops and talks that are in alignment with our mission. We have historically welcomed the scientific/medical community that is presently conducting FDA-approved research studies for the treatment of such conditions as depression and PTSD with entheogenic medicines. (Note: These are educational workshops and Entheos does not facilitate nor endorse the use of any illegal substances at Burning Man.)

Entheos will organize an apéritif for camp members and take the group photo on Thursday.

Food Gifting

Entheos will host a food gifting event for 100-150 people every evening at 6:15pm, Monday through Friday, and is known to offer additional surprise pop-up food gifting events at random, unannounced times
